The tasting room, located on the Plaza in Sonoma is very whimsical and inviting with its old carved wooden bar and the full-sized cow sculpture made completely out of corks from Sonoma County wine bottles, there is always something to look at. Along with the wonderful wines of Charles Creek, and Ms Moo-lot, take a few minutes to enjoy the local art on exhibit in the shop. The ones that were there the day we visited were quite exceptional and worth stopping in to see.
The estate vineyards are on Mount Sonoma at the 1000 ft elevation where the winery gets some of its Merlot grapes. They also purchase Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay from wineries throughout Carneros, Napa Valley, Russian River and Sonoma Valley to make their vineyard designate wines.
